Hello Lars, tell us about what your administration looked like before you started using Byggdagboken?
– Photos were sent via SMS, and there was no oversight regarding when tasks were completed or how long they took. It was also difficult to track hours and communicate with subcontractors. All of this had a negative impact on customer satisfaction.

In what way has the app affected your daily operations?
– Before we started using Byggdagboken, administration was manual and chaotic, and it was difficult to keep track of hours and communication with subcontractors. With Byggdagboken, everything became much more structured, especially once all staff started using the app correctly. Now, it’s easier to perform self-inspections. With a small module, we can compile hours and ensure that estimates are holding up. Staff no longer need to save photos on their phones; it’s simpler and faster, and we gain more transparency. It saves us a lot of time.
What do your customers say?
– Customers feel secure knowing that everything is well-documented, as our clients can now transparently see the time spent. I also usually include subcontractors, and our customers have even started requesting that we use Byggdagboken.
Can you tell us about any specific features you use frequently?
– Time reports and the daily log. It makes it easy to follow what everyone has done day by day. We are currently expanding with estimates, invoicing, and summaries. It’s great that it’s easy to integrate Fortnox for invoices and payroll.
How user-friendly is the app?
– As with everything, it can feel difficult at first—but now it’s very easy, even if some modules are too extensive for us.
