Azhar Al-hilali, site manager at Infrakraft Sverige AB in Gothenburg, shares how the digital tool Byggdagboken has streamlined operations and improved communication with clients. Here, he shares his experiences with the tool, which is now an integral part of the company’s project management.
Infrakraft Sverige AB in Gothenburg specializes in infrastructure and railway projects and works in close collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration. When Azhar transitioned from his previous position at Barslund to Infrakraft last year, he chose to bring the tool Byggdagboken with him for diary management and reporting.
Why did you choose to bring Byggdagboken with you when you started at Infrakraft?
– I chose Byggdagboken for its flexibility and overview. I feel confident in being able to deliver clear results. Clients appreciate the excellent weekly reports and documentation, especially the summaries of variation orders. On one occasion, I had all 100 of my variation orders approved, which saved a tremendous amount of time and strengthened the relationship with the client.
How did the onboarding with Byggdagboken go?
– Very smoothly. With just one hour of digital training via Teams, the entire team was ready to use the tool fully. It was easy to get started, and the features for diary entries, time reporting, and management of variation orders have significantly facilitated my work. I also get a good overview of whether people are on site and what has been completed.

– One of the major advantages is the ability to easily document the entire project history using images and detailed reports. This provides a transparent overview that many other tools do not offer. Additionally, support from Byggdagboken is easily accessible and very helpful.
