Our headquarters is located in beautiful Hälsingland, more specifically in the bandy hub of Ljusdal.
Isak Flodberg is not only an important member of the Byggdagboken team, he is also one of the prominent players in the local bandy team, Ljusdals BK, which is currently competing for a place in bandy’s top tier, Elitserien, for the upcoming season. We had a chat with Isak!
Hi Isak, what is your role on the bandy field and at Byggdagboken?
– My role on the bandy field is wing half, which is the equivalent of a fullback in football, you could say. At Byggdagboken, I work as a sales representative with our existing customers.

Which of the Byggdagboken-LBK players would be best as a construction worker?
– That’s a good question, but I would say Jonas Pettersson, who has experience working at a building supply store.

Who is the toughest LBK player at Byggdagboken?
– That has to be Mattias Blom! He never backs down, whether it’s training or a match.

What’s the talk like during coffee breaks the day after a match?
– Of course, it’s best when we’ve won, but there are those who think it’s a bit extra fun to talk bandy when we’ve lost too, haha.

What is your best bandy memory with LBK?
– Definitely when we played in the national championship final with our U-18 team at Studenternas IP in Uppsala, that’s a day you won’t soon forget, even though it unfortunately ended in a loss.

How can you use your bandy talent at Byggdagboken?
– Finding solutions based on each unique situation is something you do both on the bandy field and at work. Working as a team to make things easier for our customers.

Finally, what tool do you think the bandy stick resembles?
– The bandy stick can be used as a classic sledgehammer. But you need to have the right technique.
